Qualifications

It's much easier to make a deal with an inventor who understands the realties of the market and knows what he or she wants.  If you are new to inventing you should educate yourself.  The process for submitting inventions to Endeavor is as follows:

• Review the Qualifications below to see if your invention fits.

• Qualifications
  Endeavor looks for the following characteristics in the inventions it licenses:

•     Mass Market Appeal: The invention should be something that nearly every household in America will want to buy.

• Big and Easy to Understand Benefits: We should be able to communicate the main benefits in a single sentence

• Retail Price of $15+

• Survey of Friends and Family gets 75% "Yes!".  Before contacting us you should survey your friends and family (or target customers).  If 3/4 of them say they would buy your invention then we'll probably be interested.

• Prototypes and Patents are a Big Plus: It's far easier for us to move forward quickly if your invention has a pending patent (provisional is ok) and a prototype.

• Accessories are also Welcome: Do you have an accessory idea for one of our current products?  We like those too.

• Read the First Stage Disclosure Agreement.  Proceed only if you accept its terms.

• Send an email with
  "Endeavor Submission - Disclosure OK"
   

• your email should outline how your invention fits the Qualifications detailed above.  The email address is found at the bottom of the First Stage Disclosure Agreement.  

• Important: Do not disclose any confidential or proprietary information until you have a signed 2nd stage agreement.
